Don’t Be That Guy!
You know…the one that forgets to include important information from the start. When you don’t include accurate information about the property you are selling, you put the sellers agent at a total disadvantage in the transaction process.
“But what happens when they learn that we have bad wiring and polybutelyne pipes? They won’t want to buy my building.”
Maybe, but I can definitely tell you what will happen when you withhold disclosable information: You, the brokerage and the agent can be sued and otherwise held responsible by the FREC (that is the Florida Real Estate Commission,) have fines coming out of your ears, and develop trust issues that can go far beyond the potential transaction.
Be honest from the get-go, so you don’t become That Guy!
